What started as a desire to service the entertainment industry, quickly became a drive to produce entertainment outright. Infinit, a brand created in 2011 by Daniel M. Ross, was designed simply to represent a multifaceted approach to post-production—servicing VFX, music, sound design, and editing. It was trademarked, “The All-In-One Solution to Content Creation”.

Oh, how quickly did things change after that…

Ross served as the Visual Effects Supervisor of Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts (directing VFX workflow, guiding on-set cinematography, and rendering computer-generated visuals for both Master’s and Bachelor’s degree programs) for 5 years before establishing Infinit Studios in Hollywood, California, where he would service national brands and networks such as the Syfy Channel, Sketchers USA, and Rio Vista Universal.

In 2014, Ross was approached by a Los Angeles-based investment firm, where he negotiated a $5 million budget for the production of the sci-fi/fantasy saga opener, Rosette.

It was then that Daniel realized, "I might be working in the wrong business..."

Thus, fatigued and jaded by the Hollywood lifestyle he so desperately sought to obtain, Ross finally quit contracting for his VFX & post production firm in order to produce original media full-time. Walk in the park, right?

Several years and countless negotiations later, Ross has re-focused the Infinit brand to represent his life’s work: The Infinit Universe™. A multi-genre narrative saga expressed in screenplay format, yet uniquely driven by Elevated Prose—a writing style typically reserved for fantastical epics and Shakespearean romance, expositing the dichotomies of good and evil.

As a writer, Ross has merely dipped a toe in the water—as a filmmaker, the journey is still yet to begin. However, this is the sort of thing guaranteed in the territory of storytelling; a crucible that all must pass through. For the road may be long, yet the possibilities…infinite.
